Colour Me Autumn

You can’t beat autumn for the great display of colours.

It is a beautiful sunny day today and having the blue sky as a backdrop to the red colours of the leaves is amazing. The roses are almost finished, but with the abundance of rain we are having some are still giving us their last blooms.

The change of the season gives us time to reflect on the good summer we have had and time to get the firewood together for the upcoming chilly evenings again.

Even if we are still hitting 18 degrees during the day, nothing beats a nice fire at night with a good book in my opinion.

Our daughter recently found a baby hedgehog walking around the lawn and when you pick it up it rolls in a tiny little ball.

Nature really is perfect if you take the time to look at it.
