Gumboot Time

It is Gumboot time!

The grounds are well soaked and there is still heavy rain coming down at the moment. The first few daffodils are braving the weather and we will soon see more. Hopefully in time for the Cancer society’s annual Daffodil Day fundraiser at the end of August.

This is a great time for me to do lots of things indoors.

Last week we made the house ready for our triennial inspection by the B&B Association. This association does an audit to make sure that we comply with all their rules and regulations.

Well, we passed with flying colours! Which is a great feeling.

This entitles us to carry the B&B Association logo and guests can be assured that when they book with us, everything is exactly the way it is depicted on our website. This is a reassurance for both parties involved!
