Spirit of Spring

For a while it felt like Spring was in the air but now it seems to be hiding a little bit with all this rain and wind.

That doesn’t seem to have stopped the daffodils from growing however! We’ve had lots of friends and family over, as well as many of the guests staying at Thyme Out, who come out to the paddock to pick some flowers so they can brighten up their homes.

We also had a lovely group of people who made a booking for lunch on Father’s Day. We made sure that all the father’s had a bunch of flowers to take home. It was a great event and, even though the weather called for indoor seating, everyone still had a chance to enjoy the view. Good times were had by all!

Everything is slowly and steadily bursting out of their buds which is a beautiful sight to behold. Our broad beans and garlic are growing fast and the first leaves are appearing on the roses. It won’t be long now until we are sitting outside with our coffee in the sun.
