Reflecting on Spring

Spring landscape

I spent a lovely Sunday relaxing with hubby at our place.

It was a time where we could walk through our garden and see what spring was planning for all the flowers and shrubs. We were not disappointed!

Tree blossoms

The blossoms on the trees are starting to appear while some of the winter flowers, like the Hellebores, are still showing their colours.

Waking up to a blue sky with the snow capped mountains in the background, we knew we were in for a magical day.

Daffodils

The pond is up to full capacity thanks to all the rainfall we’ve had in August and the daffodils are appearing on the hill in the paddock. Time to pick some and place them indoors to bring in that happy spring feeling.

Sitting on the deck

When you have the whole day stretched out in front of you, what better than to sit down on the deck with a cup of coffee and soak up the scenery.

We had the added bonus of watching the Tuis and fantails get up to their regular antics!

  1. Hey I have just spent an our feasting on your web site. What a lovely presentation. It was your son Kevin who recommended the site to us. He is famous. He sold us a car about 3 weeks ago. It is usually hard to say whether your car salesman is a real friend, but we believe we do have a special friend in your Kevin. We have told him about our place at Rangiwahia and he would love to visit and he reckons you would too. So since we agree, we think the odds are that you would really enjoy our place – especially the pond and the 14 acres of QEII forest and the bird corridor we are developing. Too much to tell you but we would love to hear from you any time and hopefully we will be here (we spend half our time in Tauranga) Our phone is 328 2828
